| I can
help you with the myriad problems that can surface in the course of a career. Some examples of career management issues include: | |
  | Receiving a promotion and being moved to a new position with different responsibilities, and wanting coaching to get off to a fast and effective start. |
  | A difficult relationship at work, with a supervisor, colleague or direct reports. |
  | A repeating pattern that is getting in the way of career advancement. |
  | Preparing to ask for a raise. |
  | Negotiating an exit package when it becomes obvious a lay-off is imminent. |
  | A desire to move from full-time to part-time status. |
The length of our career management work depends entirely on the type of problem and how much assistance you are looking for. Some clients spend a significant amount of time working through career-limiting behaviors and learning new ways of interacting in the workplace. Other clients have a specific stressor that can be addressed in a few sessions. Our first session will include a joint assessment of the goals and the appropriate timing and duration of our work.
